On April 27 and 28, 111 years after the discovery of hepatollenular degeneration, with the approval of the Anhui Provincial Government and under the joint guidance of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Anhui Provincial People's Government, the Anhui Provincial Department of Education, the Anhui Provincial Health Commission (Provincial Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine), and the Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, The "First International Conference on hepatolenticular Degeneration" hosted by the Encephalopathy Center of the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Chinese Medicine was held in Hefei. This conference is a combination of online and offline form, and is broadcast live by China National Knowledge Network. The meeting specially invited the United States, Canada, Germany and other foreign famous neurology experts and domestic academicians, Chinese medical masters, Qihuang scholars, national Jieqing and other experts and scholars to attend the meeting and make important academic reports. The opening ceremony of the meeting was presided over by Yang Wenming, chairman of the Encephalopathy Professional Committee of Anhui Chinese Medicine Society and president of the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Chinese Medicine.
Yang Wenming delivered a speech at the meeting. He extended a warm welcome to all the experts and professors attending the conference, and expressed his heartfelt thanks to all the leaders and medical colleagues who actively supported the development of research on hepatollenular degeneration. He pointed out that it coincides with the 111 years since the discovery of hepatolenticular degeneration, the conference is a comprehensive and systematic summary of the 111 years of domestic and foreign progress in the diagnosis and treatment of the disease, and provides a platform for domestic and foreign experts engaged in the diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and management of hepatolenticular degeneration.
The meeting shared the latest international research results of hepatolenticular degeneration, and provided a platform and opportunity for the majority of medical workers engaged in TCM encephalopathy and neuroscience to learn from each other, communicate with each other, and strengthen cooperation, so as to promote the development of TCM encephalopathy in our province.
