The Hospital Participated in the China-Finland High-tech Matchmaking Meeting UpdateTime: 2021-06-23

On June 22, the "China-Finland High-tech Matchmaking Meeting and China-Finland Innovation Cooperation Exchange Meeting in the Yangtze River Delta" jointly organized by the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Finnish National Business Promotion Bureau was held in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. This activity was held in a combination of online and offline. About 100 representatives from the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Science and Technology and the science and technology authorities of Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui provinces, the Consulate General of Finland in Shanghai, the National Business Promotion Bureau of Finland in China and some enterprises, universities and institutions attended the conference in Nanjing. Other representatives attended the conference in the local sub-conference or attended the conference online through the live streaming platform. Professor Liu Jian, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Hospital and director of the Institute of Rheumatology, led the rheumatology academic team of 4 doctors to attend the offline meeting. Liu Jian was invited to share cases of China-Finland innovation cooperation.

This event highlighted the leading research level of our hospital’s rheumatology team. Liu Jian's report received attention and praise from online and participating experts. Many universities expressed their intention to cooperate with Anhui TCM rheumatology team to carry out cooperative research combining big data, artificial intelligence and TCM rheumatology. Science and technology management departments of relevant provinces and cities expressed their continued concern and support for the international cooperative research on TCM rheumatology in Anhui. The project officer from the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Science and Technology encouraged the Anhui TCM rheumatology team to continue to work hard and produce more results beyond China for the benefit of rheumatology patients around the world.
