TheClinical Research Laboratory Center of the First Affiliated Hospital of AnhuiUniversity of Chinese Medicine is guided and constructed by the overall plan policyof building a “characteristic, high-level, research-oriented Chinese medicinehospital” during the 13th Five-Year Plan period of the hospital. Based onsupporting clinical scientific research, the mission of the center is to takeinnovative scientific research, to cultivate outstanding Chinese medicinetalents, and to be able to undertake major national-level scientific researchprojects and obtain innovative research results as its own responsibility tobuild a basic and innovative scientific research platform. The center isplanned to be established in 2017 and is planned on the 13th floor of theScientific Research Department. At present, the construction of basicexperimental facilities such as animal room, cell culture room, fluorescentquantitative PCR room, and western blotting laboratory has been completed, andthe construction of flow cytometry room and gene sequencing is underpreparation. High-precision core platforms such as metabolomics laboratoriesand patch clamp laboratories strive to become a multi-functional, all-round,open, and modern experimental teaching and scientific research base.
