A few days ago, the General Office of the National Development and Reform Commission and the Office of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine jointly issued the "Notice on Printing and Distributing the Project Reserve And Cultivation Library of the National Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance and Innovation Center", which determined that 30 units from 18 provinces and cities across the country were included in the project reserve pool. With the strong support of the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the Provincial Health Commission (Provincial Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine), Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and other higher-level departments, our institute was successfully selected.
During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, our hospital will continue to play the role of the leading unit of the province's traditional Chinese medicine industry, pay close attention to the preliminary preparation of the project, strictly follow the construction requirements of the "National Guidance Plan for the Construction of the National Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance and Innovation Center", and build a research-based outpatient clinic/ward, a biological resource information sample database, a evidence-based research base for traditional Chinese medicine, and a multidisciplinary integrated basic research platform around five major advantageous diseases such as diabetes and complications, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, Wilson's disease, and rheumatoid arthritis. Nine major platforms, including the Research and Development of Traditional Chinese Medicine Specialty Preparations and Quality Standard Research Center of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Ancient Book Mining application information database, the collaborative innovation platform, the achievement transformation platform, and the talent training base, comprehensively enhance the advantages and service capabilities of traditional Chinese medicine, and promote the construction of Xin'an medical culture brand.
