The ICU Party Branch of Internal Medicine was awarded as the "Benchmark Party Branch" of clinical departments of national public hospitals. The Party branch of the first Department of Encephalopathy was awarded as the "Model branch of National Party Building work" and was selected as the "double leaders" secretary of the Party branch "Strong Power Action" of national universities.
Cultural Development Dedicated to the 65th Birthday of the Hospital
The hospital held the 65th anniversary celebration and the welcome party for 2024 freshmen. The third youth league Congress and the second Student Congress were held smoothly. The hospital was approved as the Anhui Provincial Traditional Chinese medicine culture publicity and education base. The hospital won the excellent Organization award of the fifth New Era Health Science Works Collection Competition of Anhui Province, and the Internet health science video of the hospital was selected in the top 10 of "Excellent Cases of Healthy China Innovation Communication". The hospital was awarded one one-star youth civilization number of provincial organs and one youth civilization number of Provincial Youth League Committee; 1 person won the title of advanced individual in Shushan District, the title of "May Day Female Model Post in Anhui Province", and the wisdom pharmacy won the title of "Anhui Worker Pioneer".
The North District Outpatient Ward Put into Operation
On March 11th, the north district of the hospital held the opening activity. On September 9th, the first batch of inpatient wards in the north district were officially opened. On December 26, the second phase of the north district project started construction.
According to the construction idea of "function translation, dislocation development, prominent characteristics", the north district of the hospital has the function orientation of "whole outpatient service, small comprehensive, strong specialized operation and management mode". The departments of acupuncture and rehabilitation, cardiovascular medicine and oncology have been opened, and more inpatient wards, outpatient and surgical medical services will be gradually opened, focusing on building a high-standard and high-level research hospital in the north city of Hefei.
New Breakthroughs Were Made in the Training of High-end Talents
The hospital actively introduced the national talent project of "young and middle-aged experts with outstanding contributions"."Jianghuai famous doctor" Zhao Weidong, obstetrics and gynecology team and "Jianghuai famous doctor, second-level professor" Wang Shengyi, thyroid and breast surgery team fully settled in. Five Major Disciplines Ranked Among the top 10 in China
The 2023 Research Report on the Academic Impact Evaluation of TCM Hospital Discipline (Specialty) was released in Beijing. Hospital TCM bi disease, TCM geriatrics, TCM lung disease, TCM encephalopathy and TCM endocrinology have respectively ranked among the top ten in China.
The National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine announced the selection results of the advantages of the national Traditional Chinese medicine specialty, amony which 11 specialties of the department of encephalopathy, pulmonary disease, endocrinology, nephrology, rheumatism, anorectal, rehabilitation, critical care medicine, treatment, clinical pharmacy, and nursing were selected into the national Traditional Chinese medicine specialty specialty construction project.
The Hospital Successfully Passed the Professional Certification of the Ministry of Education
The hospital successfully passed the Chinese medicine professional certification of the Ministry of Education (the second round of certification), and cooperated with the university to complete the professional certification of Chinese and Western medicine. There are 697 undergraduates, 514 master students, and 81 doctoral students. At present, there are 5148 students in the university, ranking the first in the total number of the university. Talent training quality continues to improve. One person was honored as teaching model in 2024. There are one first prize and two second prizes of provincial teaching outcoming prize. There are 23 projects approved as provincial quality project, 42 as national and provincial continuing learning project and 2 won the 14th "challenge cup" Chinese college students' business plan competition and China international college students innovation competition national bronze prize.
The Transformation of Scientific and Technological Achievements in Pharmaceutical Preparations of the hospital Reached a New Level
The hospital has completed the infrastructure construction of the scientific research platform of the National Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance and Innovation Center, and two preparations in the hospital have successfully completed the transformation of scientific and technological achievements. The transformation of scientific and technological achievements of the hospital has been evaluated as Class A (excellent) in the phased evaluation of the Provincial Department of Science and Technology. The hospital was successfully approved as the 15th post-doctoral research station in Anhui Province. 33 projects has been approved as National Natural Science Foundation of China, 53 projects as provincial universities scientific research, 37 projects as TCM inheritance and innovation projects, 22 projects as TCM inheritance and innovation of the Society of Traditional Chinese Medicine project, and 2 projects as Huatuo Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine project. One person was elected as the chairman of the Professional Committee of the Neurology of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine which is the first time that an expert in our province served as the chairman of the clinical core discipline of the Chinese Society of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine.
The TCM Characteristic Service Advantages Highlighted
Professor Yang Jun, famous national Chinese medicine doctor, was invited to attend the 2024 World Traditional Medicine Conference and give a special report. National Old Pharmaceutical Workers Inheritance Studio Construction Project and the Anhui Provincial Traditional Chinese Medicine Specialized Nurse Training Base were approved. Two experts were approved as the seventh batch of representative inheritors of provincial intangible cultural heritage. The international medical department of the hospital was inaugurated. The service volume of winter disease and summer treatment increased by more than 40% year on year.
The "public voice" Management to Improve the Quality and Efficiency
The hospital comprehensively promoted the action to improve medical quality, formulated and issued the Annual Action Plan for improving Hospital Medical Quality, and successfully completed the "three reasonable" evaluation of the three specialties of critical care medicine, emergency medicine and rehabilitation medicine. The Work System of "public voice" reflecting Medical Service Problems (Trial) was issued.The paperless coverage of the whole hospital (including the north district) was realized. A new clinical pathway system was officially launched.
