In 2022, Han Mingxiang won the title of Master of traditional Chinese Medicine, and Cao Enze, Hu Guojun and Yang Jun won the title of national Famous TCM. Newly added 1 young Qhuang scholar, 5 provincial famous doctors of traditional Chinese medicine, 14 provincial famous doctors of traditional Chinese medicine, 3 provincial famous Chinese medicine practitioners, and 3 "Young Famous Doctors of Jianghuai" in Anhui Province.
Top 4 The building for Inheriting and Innovating Traditional Chinese Medicine has been capped ahead of schedule.
On Nov 16, the hospital's TCM inheritance innovation building was completed earlier than expected. The main building has 22 floors above ground and 2 floors underground, with a total construction area of about 60,000 square meters and an investment estimate of about 330 million yuan. It mainly includes typical traditional Chinese medicine treating wards, famous experienced Chinese medicine doctors inheritance studios, disease prevention centers, etc.
Top 5 Successfully approved as the National Science Popularization Education Base.
In the National Science Popularization Education Base named by China Association for Science and Technology, our hospital is the only medical institution in Anhui Province. Based on its scientific research advantages, the hospital integrates science popularization with scientific research, innovates the form of science popularization, enhances the function of science popularization, and improves the scientific quality of the public.
Top 6 Four experts were commended by Chinese Medical Doctor Association and Anhui Medical Doctor Association respectively.
Chief Physician Zhang Guoliang won the 13th "Chinese Doctor Award", becoming the only expert selected by Anhui Province. Professor Han Mingxiang, a master of traditional Chinese medicine, won the "Outstanding Achievement Award for Physicians", and Chief Physician Hou Zhifeng and Deputy Chief Physician Li Zhongzhi won the "Good Doctor" award.

In 2022, the National Development and Reform Commission, the National Health Commission and the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine announced the fourth batch of national regional medical center construction programme. The Anhui Hospital project of Shuguang Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, co-built by our hospital, was successfully selected, and the construction plan was approved and implemented.
Top 8 Launch the five major campaigns of TCM prevention and treatment of COVID-19.
Since the outbreak of the epidemic, the hospital has made full use of the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine to fight the five-war of prevention, coordination, precision, rehabilitation and science and technology. To prepare COVID-19 prevention drug "Compound Astragalus Jiedu mixture", Anhui and Shanghai No.1, No.2, No.3, No.4 prescription. Experts have been sent to Wuhan, Shanghai, Hainan, South Sudan, Guinea and other provinces to assist in the fight against the COVID-19 . It has been approved 5 national and Anhui Province COVID-19 emergency scientific research projects, and published the first international paper on the treatment of Omicron-infected patients with traditional Chinese medicine, which was included in SCI. Five people were awarded the titles of "National Advanced Individual in the Fight against COVID-19", "National Advanced Individual in the Prevention and Control of COVID-19 in the Health System", "Outstanding Communist Party Member of Anhui Province" and "Anhui Good Person".

In 2022, the National Natural Science Foundation set a new record with 11 projects, including one regional joint fund, 2 Anhui Provincial Science and Technology Award second prize (Science and Technology progress), 1 third prize of Anhui Provincial Science and Technology Award; Won 1 third prize of Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award; won the second prize of Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award. The hospital was selected as one of the first provincial-level regional construction units of traditional Chinese Medicine rehabilitation center and Traditional Chinese Medicine preparation center, and 4 specialties of rheumatology, oncology, orthopaedics and massage were selected as the second batch of provincial-level superior specialty construction projects of traditional Chinese medicine. "Xu's Gynecology in Lujiang" submitted by the hospital was included in the sixth batch of provincial intangible cultural heritage projects of Anhui Provincial People's Government.
