In order to further do a good job in the prevention and control of the COVID-19, to provide a closed-loop and one-stop medical treatment environment and service process, and to re-engineer the process according to the fever clinic standards, the Pharmacy Department of our hospital introduced 24-hour self-service pharmacy equipment with the support and cooperation of the relevant departments of the hospital recently, which opened up the whole process of contactless self-service medicine collection mode.
After a patient sees a doctor in the fever clinic, the doctor writes a prescription for the patient and pays the fee. After that the patient can scan the QR code on the medicine receipt or input the doctor card number in front of the self-service pharmacy equipment to collect the medicine. During this period, the machine will check the patient's prescription information in the HIS, and use the intelligent visual checking technology to compare the quantity and correctness of the medicines. After confirmation, the medicines will be automatically dispensed, and the images of the medicines will be saved. The automatic dispensing machine will print the medication instruction sheet synchronously to realize the whole process of contactless dispensing.
The application of the 'self-service pharmacy' in the fever clinic realizes the function of 'self-service drug collection and intelligent management'. The application of this model realizes the automation, informationization and intelligent management of the hospital, which not only reduces the stay time of patients in the hospital during the epidemic, but also reduces the possibility of cross-infection, which has also improved the hospital's pharmaceutical service level to allow patients to truly experience considerate and convenient services.
