The hospital was confirmed as the culture publicity and education base construction unit of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Anhui Province. The hospital also co-sponsored with Anhui University of Chinese Medicine and other units to establish the Anhui Provincial Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture Research Association and became the vice-chairman unit.
The strict normalization action of the epidemic prevention and control
The hospital actively carried out the normalized prevention and control of the epidemic, gave full play to the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine, and contributed the wisdom and strength of traditional Chinese medicine practitioners to the prevention and control of the epidemic. A vaccination team composed of more than 200 nursing staff was established in the hospital to be responsible for vaccination, and 15 nurses were selected to participate in the two-month vaccination mission at the vaccination site in Hefei.

The hospital was given the approval of the Ph.D. degree authorization of Chinese medicine. The deeply promotion of the integration of colleges and universities, the management of more than 3,100 graduate students and undergraduates, the undertaking of 13,156 teaching hours each year, and the conduction of the clinical teaching and student management work in a standardized and orderly manner were all proceeded smoothly.

The National Epidemic Prevention and Control Base and the National Emergency Medical Rescue Base settled in the hospital
The hospital has been approved as a national epidemic prevention and control base and a national emergency medical rescue base, and has made positive progress in the construction of projects such as co-construction of a national regional medical center with Shuguang Hospital. The construction of the National Chinese Medicine Inheritance and Innovation Project is progressing steadily, and the construction of the basement structure is currently underway. The building mainly includes an ancient Chinese medicine experience inheritance studio, a Chinese medicine classic ward, and a pre-treatment center with a total of 900 beds approximately. The contract of Anhui Province Traditional Chinese Medicine Regional Medical Center was successfully signed.
