On the morning of January 22, the 'third-party evaluation of the effect of the action plan for further improvement of medical services in 2019-2020' organized by the National Health Commission and the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine was carried out in our hospital. Through the investigation of the overall situation of the hospital, questionnaire surveys of medical staff and patients, and collection of typical cases, an expert supervision team and investigators evaluate the effectiveness of the hospital’s medical services. President of the hospital, Yang Wenming, Vice President, Wang Han, heads of functional departments, and medical staff attended the kick-off meeting.
At the meeting, the expert made a detailed interpretation from the aspects of evaluation dimensions and indicators, evaluation methods, and survey objects. The expert team conducted on-site inspections in outpatient, emergency and other areas to evaluate the operation of the hospital, also the implementation of the action plan, and the infection control in the hospital. At the same time, the investigator completed an on-site questionnaire survey of 300 medical staff on the same day to understand their feelings in terms of action plan evaluation, job satisfaction, mental health, and practice status; 350 outpatients were selected from the perspectives of outpatient process, the environment, experience of medical treatment in terms of diagnosis and treatment services, nursing services, and overall evaluation.
